Ruda
Rue is a evergreen perennial herb grown from seeds grown in USDA Zones 5 - 11. It will reach 18 - 24 inches when planted from seeds and is grown as an ornamental as well as for medicinal value. Ruta graveolens, gets small clusters of yellow flowers near midsummer, held well above the foliage and often covering most of the plant. Rue grows best in full sun and thrives in poor sandy soils, and hot, dry sites. It is an attractive standout in the herb garden.
