This budget pack is an optimized collection of parts and pieces to experiment with Adafruit Metro 328 and the Arduino IDE at home, school or work. Great for students and those that want to get their feet wet, no soldering required!Includes the Adafruit Metro 328 with thru-hole headers. The Metro is our take on the most maker-friendly Arduino-compatible board. It is the culmination of years of playing with electronics: we wanted to make a development board that is easy to use and is hacker friendly. At the heart is an ATmega328P, with 32KB of flash and 2KB of RAM, running at 16 MHz, the same chip used in the Arduino UNO

Get ready for our fastest Metro ever - the NXP iMX RT1011 microcontroller powers this board with a 500 MHz ARM Cortex M7 processor. There's 8 MB of execute-in-place QSPI for firmware + disk storage and 128KB of SRAM in-chip, plus a WiFi co-processor using an on-board ESP32 module. The iMX series of chips is the fastest microcontrollers around, with a Cortex M7 processor that is more powerful than the M0 or M4, and clock speeds of 500MHz+.

Here's a great way to use and adapt a world of projects and example code - the Adafruit METRO. It's a derivative of the Arduino UNO board (RS 769-7409) and it runs so the ATmega328P at 16 MHz with 32 KB of flash and 2 KB of RAM. So it's just the thing for those simple projects. Featuring 19 GPIO pins including analogue inputs, hardware UART, SPI and I²C, timers and PWM, the METRO's logic level is 5 V (though you'll find it easy enough to convert this to 3.3 V).

Heard about Arduino IDE-compatibles but not sure how to start? The Adafruit Metro is an ATmega328-based (like a lot of our own products) development
